Gamle Bindslev Powerplant
Bindslev, North Denmark Region, Denmark
The old electrical power plant of Bindslev was built in 1904 to produce DC power using an artificial waterfall and Francis-turbines within the power plant building.
In 2004 enthusiasts finished the restoration of the power plant and put it back into usage. With the help of a converter they are able to convert the DC power into commonly used AC power and feed this into the electrical network.
This is a part of one of the outside rack-wheels of the power plant, which was standing still when I visited in the fall of 2015.
