Red tailed green ratsnake
St. Hanshaugen, Oslo, Oslo, Norway Scientific name: Gonyosoma oxycephalum. In the wild they get up tp six years old, captive ones have lived up to an age of 15. Adults are bright green in color with a tail colored in reddish-brown, grey or orange. The black spots of the juveniles usually fade when the snake reaches adulthood.
