Dove's-foot Crane's bill - Geranium molle
Cape Foulwind, West Coast, New Zealand Dusky Crane's Bill - Geranium lucidum Erect, glandular-pubescent perennial to 60 cm. Leaves Basal leaves 7-12 cm. Flowers Blackish purple with apiculate petals. Habitat Frequently occurs as a garden escape in hedge banks and shady places near habitation on moist, fertile soils. Distribution Introduced. Widely grown in gardens; numerous cultivars. (Native of mts of central and S Europe.)
