Råbjerg Mille
Råbjerg Mille, Skagen, North Denmark Region, Denmark Råbjerg Mile is, with its areal of 2 square kilometers, Europes largest wandering dune. The dune was formed on the west coast in the 16th century during the great sand drift which dominated the landscape until this century. The tracks left by the dune can be seen back to Raabjerg Stene (The stones of Raabjerg). Strong western winds let the sand drift around 15 meters toward the north-east every year. uuid="A5380073-36F6-41BA-9DDF-81B3BEF78952" id="Denmark lilleulven.com 20150923_143225_DK_North_Denmark_Region_Skagen__www.LilleUlven.com.dng Danmark Lilleulven.com"
