The palais Schack, originally build for the Norwegian Nobleman Løvenskiuld but already before completition bought by the Schacks is today the winter residence of Queen Magarethe II of Denmark. The Moltke Palais houses one of the most beautiful rooms of the Danish rococco and is today used as a guesthouse. The Brockdorff Palais is today the residence of the krownprince Fredric and his wife Mary of Denmark.
