Møntmestergarden - House of the mintmaster
Vesterbro, Aarhus, Aarhus, Central Denmark Region, Denmark The house of the mintmaster, which today towers over the market square in Den Gamle By, is the only remaining large building from Borgergade-Adelgade quarter, which occurred in Copenhagen in the later part of the 1600s. The quarter was also called Nykøbenhavn (New-Copenhagen). The building was build in 1683 in Copenhagen and rebuild in Den Gamle By as its so far largest building project in the history of the museum. The building houses interieur from the ultra-conservative from between 1690 and 1768.
