Traveling through North Germany
Ackerbürgerhaus, Strukturstraße in Verden
Verden (Aller), Niedersachsen, Germany The half-timbered house in Strukturstraße 7 was erected by Henricus Elvers, civil law notary and vicar of the St. Andreas Church, in 1577. It is one of the most magnificent medieval constructions of a lower-German aisled houses of the 16th century in the northern Weser-area. By its size and shape of the rooms inside it would rather count as a middle-class home, the elaborate carved outside - based on original documents of artists of the period - has its example in grand mansions of the period. The House has not been changed significantly over a period of several centuries and documents in an outstanding way the evolution within the construction in the city during the transmission from medievals to the modern age. uuid="6AB5CF57-76A0-4207-A0B1-883E48112AE7" id="Germany lilleulven.com Ackerbürgerhaus__Strukturstraße_in_Verden_Germany_Niedersachsen_Verden_(Aller)__20160101_134955_00101-2.dng Germany Lilleulven.com"
