Gol Stave church
Oslo, Oslo • Norway Originally built in 1200 in the village of Gol in Norway, this stave church was taken down in the 1880s and rebuild in the Folkemuseum of Oslo as part of the so called King Oscar's II collections. But only about 1/3 of the orginal building was preserved so that most of the outer parts of the building are now from 1885. The restauration in 1885 led to a removal of all parts that had been added since the church's original building, so that benches are now missing and one gets a good impression about what it was like to go to church in the medievals. uuid="2FBD5746-8821-4C22-844C-878CB76D4173" id="Norway lilleulven.com Gol_Stave_church_Norway_Oslo_Oslo_www.LilleUlven.com_20160721_120129.dng Norway Lilleulven.com"
