Andalucia, Spain
Photos from Lille Ulven’s adventurous journey through Andalusia, Spain. Including El Chorro, Grenada, Ronda, Malagá, the Alhambra, General Life and more.
In 711 Andalucía was conquered by the Moors and the Berbers. The influence of the different Arab dynasties of the Omayyades, Almoravides, Almohades and Nasrides is still seen today in the architecture and agriculture of the area. Especially the Alhambra in Grenada is a well known example of Arab construction ingenuity and quality. During the time of the Arab leadership, which lasted until 1492, the cohabitation of Jews, Christians and Arab culture has become legend. After Andalucía was conquered by the Spanish under the rule of Queen Isabella, Sevilla would become its capital and Andalucía the center of Europe.

Looking back toward Ronda
Ronda, Andalucía, Spain I hadn't gone far from Ronda on the A-366 toward El Burgo, when I found this beautiful spot and had to stop to take a couple of photos, which of course again meant that I was falling behind the group I was riding with. But then I wanted to experience Andalucia and not race through it, so I took my time. uuid="54C2E528-4CCB-4AAE-917B-7E109FDC674B" id="Spain lilleulven.com 20091102_091304_____www.LilleUlven.com.dng Spain Lilleulven.com"
