Cape Foulwind
Cape Foulwind, West Coast, New Zealand Cape Foulwind got its name from Captain Cook - even though it had been given a different name previously by the Dutch Explorer Abel Tasman. But as the Captain's ship, the Endeavour, was driven out by the wind into the Tasman sea he named the cape after this incident. uuid="0265CE5C-8258-4FA3-9336-AF2767BCCD58" id="New Zealand lilleulven.com 20130123_090740_NZ_West Coast_Cape Foulwind__www.LilleUlven.com.DNG New Zealand South Lilleulven.com"
